Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella, PLLC
is proud to announce

Michael J. Donahue has recently been asked to serve as the
legal community member of the
NH Department of Environmental Services Brownfields Advisory Board
Together with other representatives of local, state, and federal government, environmental consultants, bankers and developers with experience in bringing environmentally impaired properties back to productive use, Mike regularly communicates with and meets quarterly with NH DES staff to review current initiatives. One of the primary responsibilities of the volunteer Advisory Board is to provide advice and oversight for DES's Petroleum Brownfields Assessment Grant including the selection of the Brownfields sites in the state that will receive site assessment services. The Advisory Committee will also have a role in providing external input on future rule changes, legislation, and Department policy.
Mike has represented several NH municipalities in successful efforts to develop strategies to tap into state and federal funding sources to clean up and return abandoned environmentally impaired property to the tax rolls. He's also advised private developers and lending institutions in connection with the acquisition, financing and redevelopment of such impaired Brownfield properties. Mike enjoys this challenging complex practice area because it can lead to very tangible positive results for clients and the community. He's honored that NH DES has designated him as a representative of the legal community to lend his experience and expertise to support the Department's Brownfields initiatives.
