John joined Donahue Tucker & Ciandella in September 2007 after sitting for the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Exams in July 2007.
John grew up in Middleton, Massachusetts, a small town north of Boston. He received his B.A. in Economics from Boston College in 1999. He received his J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2007.
Before law school, John worked in residential construction, including time as a project leader for Habitat for Humanity in Oakland, California and a lead carpenter for a residential remodeling contractor in Portland, Oregon. At Vermont Law School, John completed an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and served as a research assistant for the VLS Land Use Institute, receiving recognition for his work on state and local affordable housing issues. In addition, John worked on immigration and domestic relations cases at the South Royalton Legal Clinic, Vermont Law School's award-winning legal aid clinic.
John will assist the firm's development, municipal, real estate, and litigation practice groups.
