Beth spends most of her time working in the areas of business, employment, bankruptcy and real estate law. She works with start-up business clients to select and form business entities. For the established business clients, she provides counsel on a variety of everyday business matters, including employment issues. She also helps clients negotiate and document their business relationships and transactions in order to avoid costly disputes. She has considerable experience representing creditors in courts, especially the Bankruptcy Court, asserting their rights against nonpaying debtors. Her extensive background in real estate law also contributes to her successes in representing creditors, particularly lenders, since most loan transactions have real estate as part of the collateral.
A long time New Hampshire resident, Beth received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and, after working in the sales and marketing field for four years, she pursued her law degree. She received her law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1989. She joined Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella in 1993. Beth has lectured on employment law, business entity selection, and limited liability companies, as well as real estate, foreclosure, and repossession.
Beth is admitted to practice law in the states of New Hampshire and Maine. In addition to her professional affiliations, she is a part-time instructor of Employment Law and Hospitality Law in the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.
