As a partner in the Firm since January 2007, Chris conducts a state-wide practice out of the Firm’s Meredith office for a wide range of municipalities,  property owners and businesses.  Chris enjoys helping clients find solutions to problems as cost-effectively as possible.  Chris counsels a wide variety of City and Town Managers/Administrators, Boards of Selectmen, City Councils and Land Use Boards in all parts of New Hampshire.  Chris also appears before land use boards and Superior Courts across the State, including Rockingham, Strafford, Coos, Grafton, Belknap and Carroll counties, as well as before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and various State Agencies, including the Board of Tax and Land Appeals (BTLA), Department of Enviornmental Services (DES), Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Public Utilities Commission (PUC).  Chris actively handles a wide variety of municipal and taxation matters, conveyancing and title issues, boundary and easement disputes, creation and interpretation of conservation easements, land use and permitting matters, Shoreland Water Quality Protection Act (formerly known as the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act), wetlands and stream crossing issues, site plan approvals and variance applications, and related mediation, litigation and appeals.

Since February 2004, Chris has been an active member of the NHBA Title Standards Subcommittee charged with reviewing and revising the New Hampshire Title Standards under the auspices of the NHBA Board of Governors. Chris has previously served as Chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Municipal and Government Law Section; and in November 2019, Chris was named the Russ Marcoux Municipal Advocate of the Year by the New Hampshire Municipal Association. Chris is a member the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the Belknap County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the New Hampshire Bar Association (including the Municipal and Government Law, Environmental and the Real Estate Sections).  Chris frequently lectures on a variety of municipal, title and land use topics for the NH Municipal Association, the NH Office of Strategic Initiatives, the New Hampshire Bar Association, Primex and the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association.  From March 2014 to March 2017, Chris served on the Board of Trustees of the Samuel H. Wentworth Library in Center Sandwich; and in March 2017, Chris was elected for a three year term as a Selectman in Sandwich.
