DTC Attorneys Attend Rockingham County Bar Association’s Annual Meeting

 A number of attorneys from DTC attended the Rockingham County Bar Association’s Annual Meeting and social event at the Exeter Inn on May 30th.  Along with many other members of the county bar, Attorneys Michael Donahue, Lizabeth MacDonald, Robert Derosier, Christopher Hilson, Jessica Ecker, and Nicholas Aeschliman attended. 

Attendees were entertained by the induction of two new members of the “Loyal Order of the Rock” which is an award given by the County Bar Association to practitioners who live or work in Rockingham County and have done so in a professional and respected manner for a significant period of time.  Local solo practitioner Mae Bradshaw was roasted by her good friend Mark Tay, and Raymond Taylor, longtime clerk of the Rockingham County Courthouse was roasted by Judge McHugh. Our very own Charles Tucker was inducted into the Loyal Order of the Rock back in 2007.  Congratulations Mae and Ray for your contributions to the practice of law in Rockingham County, and also for your contributions as board members and officers of the Rockingham County Bar Association.

DTC Attends Fisher Cats Baseball Game

On Friday, May 18th, DTC employees, families and friends attended a Fisher Cats game.  The game took place at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, which is located in Manchester, New Hampshire and home to the Fisher Cats Minor League Baseball Team. 

The Fisher Cats played the Trenton Thunder and although the game ended in a disappointing 7-1 loss, fun was had by all.  At the end of the game there was a fireworks display provided by Atlas Fireworks.

DTC Lawyers Attend Rockingham County Bar Event

On March 27th, members and non-members of the Rockingham County Bar Association gathered at the Page in Portsmouth for their Spring Social Event.  DTC Attorneys in attendance were Jessica Ecker, Chris Hilson, Bob Derosier, and Rob Ciandella.

This year, the social event was a “trivia night” and attendees competed in small teams, answering New Hampshire themed trivia.  Rob Ciandella lead his team to victory by showcasing his New Hampshire knowledge with assistance from teammates Tom Watson and Jim Noucas.

Attorney Jessica Ecker Honored by New Hampshire Bar Association as a Pro Bono ‘Rising Star’

Attorney Ecker, who has been an Associate with Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella since 2006 has been chosen by the New Hampshire Bar Association as one of 2012’s Pro Bono Rising Stars, and was honored at the Bar Association’s Midyear Meeting on March 7th.  Attorney Ecker is one of only three young attorneys in the state chosen for this honor.  These awards are presented to attorneys who are relatively new to the practice of law who have made commitments and demonstrated early excellence in Pro Bono representation and service.  For more information on the Pro Bono Rising Star award recipients, as well as other service awards to be presented at the Midyear Meeting, click here:  http://nhbar.org/about-the-bar/ProBonoAwards.asp

Attorney Ciandella Appointed to Telecommunications Planning and Development Advisory Committee

Attorney Rob Ciandella has been reappointed by the Governor and Executive Council to another term on the Telecommunications Planning and Development Advisory Committee.  The Committee was established by New Hampshire Legislature at RSA 12-A:46 to work with the private and public sectors to promote development of the telecommunications infrastructure of the State.
