Attorneys

Our firm strives to create value for each of our clients through an assessment of their legal needs and the delivery of effective, timely legal advice.  We appreciate that each client presents a unique situation, and we take pride in getting to know our clients and balancing costs and priorities to develop legal strategies that are best suited to each of them.   Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella, PLLC, has been in business for more than twenty-five years in the New Hampshire Seacoast.  Our attorneys have the expertise and understanding of the community to provide advice and legal representation in a broad range of practice areas, from taking cases to court, to negotiating complex transactions, to counseling individuals and families through transitions and difficult times.  We want to be your lawyer.

DTC, unlike some other firms, is truly client focused because we’ve aligned our internal evaluation and compensation systems with the goal of providing clients with timely, cost effective, results-oriented service delivered by lawyers and staff who identify with clients and their objectives.

There is a rich tradition of American lawyering in which the lawyer acts as counselor, someone in the community who can be relied upon to help sort through difficult, personal and complex decisions.  More recently, there has been a shift to more specialized practices where the lawyer is not consulted about the whole of the problem but about a discrete part.  Our Firm offers the best of both practice worlds:  sophisticated practitioners who offer the practical wisdom which is the hallmark of the lawyer as counselor.

I particularly enjoy practicing law in NH where there is great collegiality among the members of the NH Bar and while clients expect professionalism they appreciate that lawyers have a life outside the office.

The informal exchange of ideas among all lawyers on legal issues and, particularly among the practice groups, makes DTC a great place to work.  The ability to do so makes for sounder and more economical advice to our clients.

When people approach you with a legal problem, especially a litigation issue, something has gone wrong and they are at a low point. I find it very rewarding to assist people with their problems and guide them through difficult points in their life.

It is a privilege and a blessing to support the community I grew up in and love through my work at DTC.  The pride and professionalism of the Attorneys, Paralegals and Staff is inspiring and an indication of the Firm’s commitment to the same.  It is an honor to be part of the DTC team.
