Shakespeare and the Language that Shaped a World

In honor of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in 1616, the Folger Shakespeare Museum in Washington, DC is bringing an Exhibition of the Folger’s collection of First Folios of Shakespeare’s plays to the Currier. As part of the opening of this Exhibition, the Currier has invited the acting company of Advice To The Players based in Sandwich, NH to perform “Shakespeare and the Language that Shaped a World”; and DTC Partner Chris Boldt is one of the six company players presenting this family friendly performance.

Cost: Museum General Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for students and $5 for youth 13 to 17. There is no additional fee for the performance.

Meredith Office Ribbon Cutting

On Wednesday March 9th the Meredith Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at our new Meredith office location, 164 NH Route 25, Towle House, Unit 2. Our new office location better serves our clients with a more modern layout and accessible facilities and convenient parking just up the hill from our former location.

Attorney Eric Maher to speak at Municipal and Government Law Section Meeting

Attorney Eric Maher will be speaking at the Municipal and Government Law Section Meeting on Wednesday, February 17th. The presentation will address code enforcement actions from beginning to end, including the various avenues by which a municipality can pursue a code enforcement matter and remedies and tools to obtain compliance with applicable codes and housing standards

Chris Boldt and Eric Maher to present at 2015 NHMA Conference

Attorneys Chris Boldt and Eric Maher have been asked by the NH Municipal Association to deliver a presentation at the NHMA’s 74rd Annual Conference in Manchester on November 20, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. This year, Chris and Eric will present on the topic of “Planning Board Waivers vs. Variances and Special Exceptions” addressing the respective powers and duties of Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment when addressing requests for such approvals. Chris and Carolyn Boldt Perform with Sandwich Singers

Attorney Chris Boldt and his wife Carolyn will again perform with the Sandwich Singers at three Christmas concerts this year: Sunday December 13 at the Methodist Meeting House in Center Sandwich; Thursday December 157at St. Andrew’s-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church in Tamworth; and Wednesday December 16 at the Melvin Village Congregational Church in Tuftonboro. All concerts will be at 7:30 p.m. and are free, though contributions are gratefully accepted.

Pie Auction to Bring in the Dough

Attorney Chris Boldt will again serve as Auctioneer for the 8th Annual Harvest Dinner and Pie Auction at St. Andrew’s-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church in Tamworth. The event will be held on November 20th at 6 p.m. and raises funds for the Church’s local outreach missions, including the Community Food Center, CASA and other worthy projects. The attached photo shows Chris in action at this popular Holiday tradition.

On Friday September 18th, Senior Real Estate Paralegal Tina Foley was awarded the Paralegal Professionalism Award from the New Hampshire Bar Association. This annual award is presented to the nominee who best exhibits a high degree of professionalism: possesses an outstanding level of job-related knowledge; has motivation that exceeds expectations; is considered a role model for other paralegals; and promotes paralegal work as a profession.
