Dear Larry,

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how incredibly grateful Norman and I are for the outstanding representation Attorney Christopher Hawkins provided, and to express our sincere appreciation to you and Veterans Legal for making it possible.

Yesterday, Norman’s case against a creditor was dismissed, and the judge also awarded him $1,000 on his counterclaim. We could hardly believe it. After a year and a half of worry and uncertainty, the relief we felt was indescribable.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christopher. From our very first meeting, he was kind, compassionate, professional, and genuinely interested in helping us. He took the time to carefully review the documentation and research I had gathered while we were waiting for legal representation for Norman. He was also extremely complimentary of my efforts, which meant a great deal to me.

What impressed me just as much as his legal abilities was the way he treated us. He knew how nervous Norman and I were, and throughout the hearing, he quietly reassured us with a smile, a wink, or a thoughtful gesture. Those little things meant more than he probably realizes.
