The Eagles Have Landed – Help Support Our Soldiers

Veterans Count working through Easter Seals-NH is proud to sponsor the Eagle Parade. Over 40 uniquely hand painted 5 ft. Eagles will be displayed throughput the Seacoast this summer and auctioned off on Veterans Day with all funds going to provide emergency funding for NH veterans and their families. Veterans Count, is also sponsoring an Evening with General (Ret) David H. Patraeus at The Music Hall in Portsmouth on August 19. All proceeds will go directly to help service members, veterans and their families. DTC Partner, Denise Poulos, proudly serves on the Board of Veterans Count. Attorney Christopher Hilson Elected to the American Red Cross Board of Directors for NH and Maine

DTC Attorney Christopher Hilson was recently elected to The American Red Cross Board of Directors for New Hampshire and Maine. The American Red Cross helps thousands of people each day by providing compassionate care to those in need. Their network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world.  They roll up our sleeves and donate time, money and blood. They learn and teach life-saving skills to people whose communities can be better prepared when the need arises. Attorney Chris Boldt to Speak at OEP Spring Planning and Zoning Conference

Attorney Chris Boldt will once again be presenting at the 2016 Annual Spring Planning and Zoning Conference of the NH Office of Energy and Planning, scheduled for Saturday, June 4th at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH. Chris has again been asked to speak at a double session on the basic procedures ZBA members should use in making their various decisions on variances, special exceptions, appeals of administrative decisions and waivers of dimensional criteria. Attorney Beth MacDonald elected to serve as the Chair of the Exeter Economic Development Commission

On May 24th Attorney Beth MacDonald was elected to serve as the Chair of the Exeter Economic Development Commission (“EDC”).

The EDC was established by the Selectmen of the Town of Exeter to encourage the welfare of local industries, promote the establishment of new industries and promote the general business and economy of the Town.

Heidi J. Barrett-Kitchen joined DTC as an Associate in April 2016. Her experience and practice involves various aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, land development, condominium law, business formations, acquisitions and transactions, estate planning and probate administration.   Heidi grew up in Massachusetts where she received her B.S. degree from Northeastern University College of Criminal Justice and her J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law.  She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  DTC is excited to welcome Heidi to our Team!  For more information about Heidi click here.

Shakespeare and the Language that Shaped a World

In honor of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in 1616, the Folger Shakespeare Museum in Washington, DC is bringing an Exhibition of the Folger’s collection of First Folios of Shakespeare’s plays to the Currier. As part of the opening of this Exhibition, the Currier has invited the acting company of Advice To The Players based in Sandwich, NH to perform “Shakespeare and the Language that Shaped a World”; and DTC Partner Chris Boldt is one of the six company players presenting this family friendly performance.

Cost: Museum General Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for students and $5 for youth 13 to 17. There is no additional fee for the performance.

Meredith Office Ribbon Cutting

On Wednesday March 9th the Meredith Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at our new Meredith office location, 164 NH Route 25, Towle House, Unit 2. Our new office location better serves our clients with a more modern layout and accessible facilities and convenient parking just up the hill from our former location.
